Job Summary
Position is responsible for providing professional nursing care to individuals including the intravenous or injection administration of biologics or other specialty pharmaceutical products and promotes patient health by completing health reviews prior to treatment, reviews patient files and collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members as required, with the end goal of providing medical therapies or self- administration teaching to patients in an ambulatory setting.

Specific Responsibilities
- Assessing the health status of patients using a pre-screening process that covers contraindications, objective and subjective data, to determine eligibility in receiving medical therapies.
- Insertion of peripheral intravenous or establishing access via central lines using sterile technique and best practices from the standards and practices of the college.
- Studying patient files and prior post-administration records to understand patient’s history.
- Handling and reconstituting biologic or oncology medication as per manufacturer and Heath Canada guidelines.
- Following provincial College of Nurses standards and guidelines on medication administration.
- Identifying patient care requirements; educating and providing counseling.
- Promoting patient independence; answering questions and teaching patients to understand their condition and medication.
- Documenting patient care services and managing records in accordance with INVIVA policies.
- Following INVIVA and nursing philosophies and standards of care.

Must-have:

Advanced knowledge of industry practice (Financial Institution) with a focus on SRE.
Advanced experience in a variety of environments (Linux, Windows, Databases, Cloud, distributed and mainframe, business workflows, and Services/APIs).
Able to automate simple tasks to reduce the toil, and increase operating system efficiency.

Reporting to the Supervisor, the Nurse Patient Experience Navigator plays a vital role in the support for our patients within the patient assistance program. They will be responsible for managing all aspects of program support for assigned physicians or centers (hospital or clinics) in each geographical area and ensures that patients are provided easy access to the support program and access to their drug therapy. The Nurse Patient Experience Navigator will work directly within the reimbursement specialist to help secure funding as well as continuing to build a rapport with clinics and physicians.
Patient SupportDuties and responsibilities generally include but are not limited to:
- Perform HCP and patient registration activities, according to program protocols and applicable departmental procedures
- Process data entry activities of pertinent information received at different points of contact during the delivery of program services
- Provide answers to general inquiry calls submitted via telephone or web-based platforms on program services, disease state or product related questions, based on information provided as part of the program materials
- Provide medical support to patients and health care providers, including but not limited to education on specific diseases and therapies and disease management;
- Prepare for and attend extensive, specialized training sessions for specific therapies provided by the pharmaceutical team
- Telephone support in a live inbound/outbound call center (including maintenance calls and adherence support both inbound and outbound as needed);
- Understand the patient’s healthcare plan and provide opportunity for the patient to access support beyond program medication.

- Work directly with the reimbursement specialist and the physician to secure funding for their patient’s therapies; assist with alternative funding searches when needed;
- Attend patient meetings, conferences as needed to increase knowledge in order to better support and educate patients
- Identify and report AE’s to health Canada, Med Info and enter source system and third-party systems
- Liaise with physicians’ offices, pharmacies, infusion services providers and other parties to provide comprehensive and coordinated service to patients and physicians and resolve issues as they arise;
- Identifies opportunities for improving organizational effectiveness with an emphasis on total customer service and cost control.
- Build relationships with key customers within area of responsibility to ensure that specifications and business requirements/ portfolio management is clearly established;
- Operates as a liaison between vendors and manufacturer

Job Summary
The Nurse Case Manager is an integral part of the Patient Services team, responsible for the coordination and delivery of services related to the patient support programs offered by McKesson Specialty. The role involves interactions with patients, insurance companies, pharmacies, physicians and other health care professionals (HCPs) and provide support to their patients. The role involves understanding, adherence to corporate, divisional, departmental, and program specific standard operating procedures. This role is a full time, permanent position with rotating evening shift (12pm-8pm) availability required.
Specific Responsibilities
- The Nurse Case Manager is the point of contact for the program, doctors, pharmacies and other HCP’s
- During the first 3-4 months of hire, NCM will be meeting key clinics for a face to face meet and greet to develop ongoing relationship with the clinics
- May be required to provide training and educational materials to patients pertaining to their medication and conduct adherence follow ups
- Review, analyze and validate information provided by patients and HCPs for accuracy and completeness to ensure initiation of services
- Follow the program protocols to ensure that the most appropriate next step is scheduled to ensure continuity of service delivery to HCPs and patients
- Complete follow ups with patients on behalf of the physician offices, as required, to ensure adherence to treatment regimens
- Liaise with the patient, insurer and physician regarding the documentation required for maximum reimbursement coverage, including the exploration of all public and private insurers and providing employer escalations as required
- Process data entry activities of pertinent information received at different points of contact during the delivery of program services
- Provide answers to general inquiry calls submitted via telephone, web-based platforms or in person, on program services, disease state or product related questions, based on information provided as part of the program materials
- Provide HCP and Patients with a technical product overview when required
- Liaise with physicians’ offices, services providers and other parties to provide comprehensive and coordinated service to patients and physicians
- Receive, record and report Adverse Events, as per program working instructions
- Maintain service levels in case management, including Adverse Events reported within twenty-four hours of receipt and any other Key Performance Indicators established at the Program level
- Perform data-entry, answer inbound calls, make outbound calls, manage e-mail and fax software, general administrative functions including faxing, filing, scanning
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Knowledge/Education
- Registered Nurse with current registration
- Understanding and compliance with corporate, divisional, departmental and program specific standard operating procedures.
Experience
- More than one year and up to three years experience in a previous job or jobs
- Demonstrated ability to communicate efficiently and in an empathetic manner over the phone and in person
- Experience in the healthcare industry including, but not limited to medical claims, insurance verification, pharmacy and/or pharmaceutical manufacturers is preferable.

Duties
- Receive 40-60 inbound calls per shift
- Day to day inquiries: everyday banking questions, account openings, help on changing passwords, charge inquiries on credit card etc.

What is the opportunity?
The Application Security team is undertaking multiple complex enterprise-wide initiatives to improve the security and quality of RBC applications. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Penetration Testing, you will provide application penetration testing services for the global RBC business and application development teams across all enterprise information technology groups. You will act as the subject matter expert in the execution of penetration testing, in addition to participating in the development of application security best practices, tools, processes, and landscapes. What will you do?
- Participate in and lead a range of security assessment activities. Perform penetration testing against application landscapes (Web, API & mobile) and oversee application and infrastructure penetration testing assessments performed by 3rd party suppliers.
- Ensure applications & infrastructure are thoroughly security tested using industry best practices prior to promotion to production
- Educate key organizational stakeholders (e.g. developers, security consultants, executives) on application security matters and impacts on the organization
- Assist in the development, evaluation, and implementation of application & infrastructure penetration testing processes and tools
- Research and keep up to date on security emerging threats, techniques, tools, and trends
What do you need to succeed?

Job Summary
Position is responsible for providing professional nursing care to individuals including the intravenous or injection administration of biologics or other specialty pharmaceutical products and promotes patient health by completing health reviews prior to treatment, reviews patient files and collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members as required, with the end goal of providing medical therapies or self- administration teaching to patients in an ambulatory setting.

- Insertion of peripheral intravenous or establishing access via central lines using sterile technique and best practices from the standards and practices of the college.
- Studying patient files and prior post-administration records to understand patient’s history.
- Handling and reconstituting biologic or oncology medication as per manufacturer and Heath Canada guidelines.
- Following provincial College of Nurses standards and guidelines on medication administration.
