Job Description We are looking for a research scientist to join our team to train AI models. You will measure the progress of these AI chatbots, evaluate their logic, and solve problems to improve the quality of each model. In this role you will need to hold an expert understanding of chemistry- a completed or in progress Masters/PhD is preferred but not required. Other related fields include, but are not limited to: Research and Development Chemist, Formulation Scientist, Development Chemist, Analytical Chemist, Chemical Engineer, Medicinal Chemist, Biochemist, Process Development Chemist. Benefits: This is a full-time or part-time REMOTE position You’ll be able to choose which projects you want to work on You can work on your own schedule Projects are paid hourly starting at $40+ per hour, with bonuses on high-quality and high-volume work Responsibilities: Give AI chatbots diverse and complex chemistry problems and evaluate their outputs Evaluate the quality produced by AI models for correctness and performance Qualifications: A current, in progress, or completed Masters and/or PhD is preferred but not required Fluency in English (native or bilingual level) Detail-oriented Proficient in chemistry, inductive/deductive reasoning, physical/temporal/ spatial reasoning Note:

Discover more about potash at Nutrien An exciting Co-Op opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Allan Potash site beginning May 2026 for a 16-month term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work. This student will work within our Surface Metallurgical group.

What you will do:

  • Support project work including sampling, sample processing, data analysis and reporting
  • Advance process-related projects in our Surface departments in collaboration with maintenance, engineering, and operations
  • Work closely with the operations group to ensure site targets are being achieved by monitoring daily KPIs and providing troubleshooting support

What you will bring:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate chemical or process engineering program (or equivalent) at an accredited post-secondary institution AND returning to full-time studies after the work term
  • Demonstrate positive safety behaviour and safety leadership
  • Superior interpersonal teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training
